To investigate the effect of type A botulinum toxin injection combined with hyaluronic acid filling in patients with glabellar frown lines. Methods A total of 120 patients with labellar frown lines admitted to Qing County People's Hospital from October 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group was treated with type A botulinum toxin injection, and the observation group was treated with type A botulinum toxin injection combined with hyaluronic acid filling. The clinical efficacy, wrinkles and recurrence were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than 73.33% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The postoperative wrinkle scores of the two groups were lower than those before the operation, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group was 3.33%, which was lower than 16.67% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Type A botulinum toxin injection combined with hyaluronic acid filling is effective in the treatment of patients with glabellar frown lines, which can effectively dilute wrinkles and has a low recurrence rate. It is worthy of clinical application.
