Abstract:To compare the effect of all-ceramic crown and porcelain veneer in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 70 patients who received aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in our hospital from July 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was repaired with all-ceramic crowns, and the observation group was repaired with porcelain veneers. The repair effect, quality of life and tooth aesthetics were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of tooth fracture, edge sealing, gingival health and tooth color in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The scores of communication ability, disease development, body state, treatment enthusiasm, self-perception, vitality and total score of the two groups after repair were higher than those before repair, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The excellent and good rate of tooth aesthetics in the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 85.57% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of porcelain veneer in the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth is better than that of all-ceramic crown, which can improve the aesthetics of teeth and improve the quality of life of patients.
