To explore the therapeutic effect of ceramic laminate veneer during oral aesthetic restoration. Methods From May 2022 to May 2023, 60 patients who received oral aesthetic restoration in the Department of Stomatology of Huanghua Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects. They were divided into conventional group and experimental group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The conventional group was treated with porcelain crown restoration, and the experimental group was treated with ceramic laminate veneer. The masticatory function, pain and periodontal status were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the bite force and masticatory efficiency of the experimental group were higher than those of the conventional group, and the VAS score was lower than that of the conventional group (P <0.05). After treatment, the PD, BI and AL in the experimental group were lower than those in the conventional group (P <0.05). Conclusion In oral aesthetic restoration, ceramic laminate veneer can effectively improve the masticatory function and pain degree of patients, which is beneficial to improve the periodontal index and improve the oral health level.
