To explore the application effect of bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment in orthodontic. Methods From September 2021 to April 2023, 70 patients who underwent orthodontic treatment in Gan Honglei Dental Clinic in Changyi District of Jilin City were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional correction, and the observation group was treated with bracketless invisible correction. The clinical related indexes, masticatory function, language function, periodontal related index and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The end time of orthodontic treatment, the time of tooth tilt reduction and the time of dislocation tooth reduction in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of masticatory function and language function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the probing depth of gingival sulcus, plaque index, gingival sulcus bleeding index and gingival index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.29%, which was higher than 68.57% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Bracketless invisible orthodontic treatment can shorten the orthodontic treatment time of patients, improve their masticatory function and language function, and effectively improve the periodontal index, with definite clinical effect.
