Abstract:To explore the treatment effect of implant restoration combined with orthodontics in patients with dentition defect in anterior teeth and malocclusion. Methods A total of 66 patients with dentition defect in anterior teeth and malocclusion admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment methods, with 33 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional implant restoration, and the observation group was treated with traditional implant restoration combined with orthodontic treatment. The tooth function, tooth aesthetics, repair effect and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of pronunciation function, masticatory function and swallowing function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of ISQ and PES in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The excellent and good rate of repair in the observation group was 96.97%, which was higher than 60.61% in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of SF-36 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of traditional implant restoration combined with orthodontic treatment in patients with dentition defect in anterior teeth and malocclusion is better, which can promote the recovery of dental function, meet the aesthetic needs of patients and improve the quality of life of patients.
