Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of traditional intensive pulsed light (IPL) and delicate pulsed light (DPL) in the treatment of patients with stable erythematotelangiectatic rosacea. Methods A total of 86 patients with erythematotelangiectatic rosacea treated in our hospital from January 2021 to September 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 43 patients in each group. The control group was treated with IPL, and the observation group was treated with DPL. The CEA score, VISIA score, physician's global assessment score and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The CEA score and VISIA score of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The PGA score of the two groups after treatment was higher than those before treatment, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 2.33%, which was lower than 16.28% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion DPL has a good clinical effect in the treatment of patients with erythematotelangiectatic rosacea. It can improve facial telangiectasia and facial erythema, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical application.
