Objective To analyze the clinical effect of vitamin C combined with tranexa mic acid in the treatment of chloasma. Methods A total of 76 patients with chloasma admitted to our hospital from January to June 2023 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 38 patients in each group. The control group was treated with oral vitamin C combined with Defilin compound acid bacteriostatic condensation. The experimental group was treated with tranexamic acid on the basis of the control group. The scores of color spots and the area of color spots, the Clinical efficaoy and the level of sex hormones were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the score of color spot and the area of color spot lesions in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The total of effective rate of clinical treatment in the experimental group was 97.37%, which was higher than 81.58% in the control group (P <0.05). The levels of luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and estradiol in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Vitamin C combined with tranexamic acid is effective in the treatment of chloasma, which can improve the pigmentation and sex hormone levels of patients.
