Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of implant anchorage in orthodontics. Methods A total of 100 patients who received orthodontic treatment in Xingyi People's Hospital from January 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into reference group and study group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with traditional orthodontic treatment, and the study group was treated with micro-implant anchorage. The oral structure, masticatory function and language function, clinical efficacy and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the convex distance of upper central incisors, the width between canines, the inclination angle of upper central incisors and the displacement of molars in the study group were better than those in the reference group (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of bite force, masticatory efficiency, masticatory comfort, masticatory satisfaction, pronunciation clarity and speech fluency in the study group were higher than those in the reference group (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.00%, which was higher than 84.00% in the reference group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the reference group (P <0.05). Conclusion Implant anchorage has certain application value in orthodontics. It can effectively improve tooth deformity, masticatory and language function. The curative effect is good, and the incidence of complications is low, which is worthy of clinical application.
