Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of high quality nursing on wound healing and aesthetics in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 100 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus who underwent cesarean section in our hospital from July 2022 to July 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was given perioperative nursing, and the observation group was given high quality nursing. The wound healing and the satisfaction rate of wound aesthetics were compared between the two groups. Results The proportion of grade A healing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the proportion of grade B and grade C healing was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of wound aesthetics in the observation group was 90.00%, which was higher than 70.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with gestational diabetes mellitus, high quality nursing is helpful to improve the wound healing, improve the wound aesthetics, and patients' satisfaction is high.
