Abstract:Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of low energy DPL combined with short wave physiotherapy instrument in the treatment of facial sensitive skin. Methods A total of 52 patients with facial sensitive skin who were treated in our hospital from February to July 2023 were selected as the study subjects. The left side of the patient's face was used as the experimental side, and the right side was used as the control side. The control side was treated with short wave physiotherapy instrument, and the experimental side was treated with low-energy DPL on the basis of the control side. The clinical efficacy, skin and skin barrier status, cosmetic satisfaction, incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence were compared between the two sides. Results The total effective rate of the experimental side after treatment was 76.92%, which was higher than 57.69% of the control side (P <0.05). After treatment, the blood red index, depression index and transepidermal water loss of the experimental side were lower than those of the control side (P <0.05). After treatment, the percentage of erythema and the water content of stratum corneum on the experimental side were higher than those on the control side (P <0.05). The cosmetic satisfaction of the test side was 78.85%, which was higher than 59.62% of the control side (P <0.05). There were no adverse reactions during and after treatment on both sides. The patients were followed up for 3 months, and no recurrence was found. Conclusion Low energy DPL combined with short wave physiotherapy instrument can improve clinical efficacy for patients with facial sensitive skin, improve their skin barrier status, improve patient satisfaction. Meanwhile, it can effectively prevent adverse reactions and reduce recurrence rate, which is worthy of reference.
