Abstract:Pouches' surgery is a common one aimed at rejuvenating the eyes in clinical practice. At present, there are two main surgical methods for pouches' plastic surgery: internal incision (Transconjunctival Route) and external incision (Incision on Dermatology).Among them, some methods of external excision’s surgery may damage the structure of the orbicularis oculi muscle at the lower palpebral margin, resulting in the disappearance of the lower facial eyes’rolls after surgery and the loss of the original dynamic beauty of the eyes. Therefore, protecting and rebuilding the eyes’sockets (Eyes’Rolls) is particularly important regarding the pouches' surgery. This article will systematically review the methods of pouches' surgery for protecting and reconstructing the eyes’sockets (Eyes’Rolls), and summarize their respective strengths and weakness for providing the reference for clinical practice.
