Objective: To investigate the application effect of porcelain veneer in oral cosmetic restoration and its effect on the periodontal status and the incidence of adverse events. Methods: From January 2023 to June 2024,78 patients with oral cosmetic restoration were selected as the study objects, and the patients were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods. Among them, the control group (n=39) used porcelain full crown restoration, and the observation group (n=39) used cast porcelain veneer restoration to compare the treatment effect. Results: Higher observation than the control group; periodontal related indicators; low incidence of adverse events; high repair satisfaction (P <0.05). Conclusion: Using the restoration method of cast porcelain veneer in oral cosmetic repair, the restoration aesthetics is high, and the periodontal related indicators change significantly, the probability of adverse reactions is low, and the satisfaction evaluation of patients on the repair is high, so it is suggested to promote the application.
