The standardized training of general dentists is an important part of the continuing education of stomatology talents in China. At present, most of the standardized training adopts the traditional teaching mode. In order to change the original teaching mode and improve the teaching quality, this study summarizes the characteristics of the standardized training of general dentistry, the teaching status of the standardized training of general dentistry in domestic colleges and universities, the concept and characteristics of CBL teaching method, and the application of CBL in the standardized training of general dentistry in China, and discusses the development of the teaching mode of this subject, in order to find a high-quality teaching method for the standardized training of general dentistry.
