Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of demand-oriented wound nursing in patients with uterine fibroids and its influence on wound healing and scar condition. Methods A total of 56 patients with uterine fibroids admitted to our hospital from March to October 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 28 patients in each group. The control group was given routine perioperative nursing, and the observation group was given demand-oriented wound nursing on the basis of the control group. The wound healing, nursing quality, complications, scar condition and negative emotions were compared between the two groups. Results The proportion of grade A wound healing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the proportion of grade B and grade C wound healing was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of basic nursing, responsibility and operation quality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.57%, which was lower than 17.86% in the control group (P <0.05). The width and thickness of scar in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group (P <0.05). The SAS score and SDS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of demand-oriented wound nursing in patients with uterine fibroids is effective, which can promote the wound healing, dilute scar tissue, improve the quality of nursing, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
