Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of targeted nursing combined with scar gel in scar repair after thyroid surgery. Methods A total of 60 patients with scar repair after thyroid surgery admitted to the Department of Infection Control of Laixi People's Hospital from July 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into routine group and study group, with 30 patients in each group. The routine group was given routine nursing, and the study group was given targeted nursing combined with scar gel. The repair effect, skin-related indicators, incision nursing costs, average scar thickness, and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The tatal total effective rate of repair in the study group was higher than that in the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After intervention, the scores of skin appearance, texture and elasticity in the study group were higher than those in the routine group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The cost of incision nursing in the study group was lower than that in the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The average thickness of scar in the study group was lower than that in the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the routine group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Scar gel combined with targeted nursing after thyroid surgery can effectively repair the incision scar, improve the appearance and texture of incision skin, ensure patients' satisfaction with scar repair effect, and reduce medical burden, which is worthy of clinical application.
