Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of light-curing composite resin in patients with oral aesthetic restoration. Methods A total of 80 patients with oral aesthetic restoration admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with porcelain crown restoration, and the study group was treated with light-curing composite resin restoration. The clinical efficacy, aesthetics, periodontal index, complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.50%, which was higher than 77.50% of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of tooth surface smoothness, retention effect, color matching and tooth morphology in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The plaque index, periodontal attachment level and gingival index of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 2.50%, which was lower than 17.50% in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction of the study group was 100.00%, which was higher than 80.00% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The implementation of light-curing composite resin repair in patients with oral aesthetic restoration can improve the repair effect, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve patient satisfaction, which is worthy of clinical application.
