Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of orthodontic therapy combined with oral restoration therapy in the treatment of congenital missing teeth. Methods A total of 70 patients with congenital missing teeth who were treated in Hanzhong People's Hospital from November 2021 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group (n =35) and observation group (n =35). The control group was treated with oral restoration therapy, and the observation group was treated with orthodontic therapy combined with oral restoration therapy. The clinical efficacy, language function, masticatory function and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 94.29%, which was higher than 74.29% in the control group (P <0.05). Ater treatment, the language function and masticatory scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those of the observation group were higher than the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of physiological function, psychological function, material life and social function in the two groups increased, and those in the observation group were higher than the control group (P <0.05).
