Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of microneedle combined with minoxidil tincture in the treatment of patients with androgenic alopecia. Methods A total of 50 subjects with androgenetic alopecia recruited by Estee Lauder Shanghai Trading Co., Ltd. from May 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 25 patients in each group. The control group was treated with minoxidil tincture, and the observation group was treated with microneedle combined with minoxidil tincture. The clinical efficacy, hair mirror data, subjective symptom score and hair growth were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.00% (24/25), which was higher than 76.00% (19/25) of the control group (P <0.05). The number of coarse hair and hair density in the observation group were higher than those in the control group after 12 weeks of treatment, and the number of fine hair and the proportion of vellus hair were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The hair growth rate and growth length of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of greasy, scaly and itching in the observation group were higher than those in the control group after 12 weeks of treatment (P <0.05). Conclusion Microneedle combined with minoxidil tincture is effective in the treatment of androgenic alopecia, which can improve the clinical efficacy, improve the subjective symptom score and promote the hair growth. It is worthy of clinical application.
