Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Peninsula gold microneedle radiofrequency combined with Omnilux red light in the treatment of bromhidrosis. Methods A total of 60 patients with bromhidrosis treated in Jiangmen Xinhui District Skin Hospital from April 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects, and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 30 patients in eachg roup. The control group was treated with apocrine gland exfoliation with small incision, and the observation group was treated with Peninsula gold microneedle radiofrequency combined with Omnilux red light. The axillary odor, axillary sweat secretion range, clinical efficacy and complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in the VAS score of axillary odor, the range of axillary sweat secretion and the total effective rate between the observation group and the control group (P >0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.33%, which was lower than 20.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For the patients with armpit odor, the Peninsula gold microneedle radiofrequency combined with Omena red light treatment can achieve similar results with surgery, which can remove the axillary odor, reduce the range of axillary sweat secretion, and reduce the incidence of complications.
