Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of psychological communication nursing in patients undergoing ocular plastic surgery. Methods A total of 116 patients who underwent cular plastic surgery in our hospital from February 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 58 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the study group was given psychological communication nursing on the basis of the control group. The satisfaction, bad mood, eye activity ability, hospitalization days and mean arterial pressure were compared between the two groups. Results The satisfaction score of the study group after nursing was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After nursing, the SAS score and SDS score of the study group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The score of eye activity ability after nursing in the study group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The hospitalization days of the study group was (3.27±0.68) d, which was shorter than (4.97±1.02) d of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The mean arterial pressure in the study group was lower than that in the control group after nursing, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of psychological communication nursing in patients undergoing ocular plastic surgery is effective. It can not only improve facial satisfaction, reduce anxiety and depression after surgery, shorten hospitalization time, but also can promote hemodynamic stability, and improve patients' eye activity, which is of positive significance and worthy of clinical application.
