Abstract:Objective: To analyze the rejuvenation effect and satisfaction of Suborbicularis oculi muscle fat (SOOF) and orbital septum and orbital septum fat anastomosis correction in the treatment of lacrimal pouch. Methods: 68 patients with lacrimal pouch treated in our hospital from June 2022 to June 2024 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into two groups, 34 cases each, according to different treatment plans. The control group (orbital fat release surgery) and the observation group (SOOF and orbital septum and orbital fat anastomosis fixation correction) were analyzed. Results: The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.06%, which was higher than that of the control group 73.53% (P<0.05). The postoperative scores of the observation group (pigmentation, lower eyelid skin relaxation, eye bag swelling, lacrimal furrows) were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction of treatment in observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than that in control group 73.53% (P<0.05). Conclusion: The treatment of SOOF with orbital septum and orbital septum fat anastomosis is significantly better than traditional orbital septum fat release in the rejuvenation of lacrimal pouch and patient satisfaction, and has better safety, effectiveness and patient experience.
