Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of origin point pressing combined with facial warm compress with dried ginger powder in the treatment of acne. Methods From January 2021 to December 2022, 60 patients with acne admitted to the Beauty Outpatient Department of Xinxing Traditional Chinese Medicine School in Guangdong Province were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with doxycycline tablets orally+clindamycin phosphate gel for external use. The observation group was treated with origin point pressing combined with facial warm compress with dried ginger powder. The clinical efficacy and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.67%, which was higher than 86.67% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The scores of red face, thirst, chest fullness, constipation, yellow urine, poor sleep, red tongue, pulse number and total score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The origin point pressing combined with facial warm dry ginger powder in the treatment of acne is helpful to improve the therapeutic effect and improve the clinical symptoms, which is worthy of clinical application.
