Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of plastic and cosmetic repair technology in the treatment of emergency facial trauma. Methods A total of 88 patients with emergency facial trauma admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 44 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional surgical repair technology, and the observation group was treated with plastic and cosmetic repair technology. The wound healing, quality of life, complications and postoperative satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of wound healing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of physiological function, general health status, social function and emotional function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 9.09%, which was lower than 22.73% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The postoperative satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The implementation of plastic and cosmetic repair technology for patients with emergency facial trauma can promote wound healing, reduce the incidence of complications, improve postoperative satisfaction, improve their negative emotions and quality of life, which is worthy of clinical appli cation.
