Objective To analyze the aesthetic effect of immediate implant restoration in the repair of upper anterior teeth and its effect on bone mass and periodontal tissue health. Methods From January to December 2022, 90 patients who received upper anterior teeth restoration in the Department of October of SUN Xiao-liang Dental Clinic in Xifeng District were selected as the research objects. According to different planting methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with delayed implant restoration, and the observation group was treated with immediate implant restoration. The bone mass, bone mass absorption rate, aesthetic effect and periodontal tissue health of the two groups were compared. Results The labial bone mass of the two groups at 6 months after operation was lower than that immediately after implantation, and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). The bone mass absorption rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of each dimension of aesthetic effect after repair in the two groups were higher than those before repair, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The periodontal probing depth, clinical attachment loss, gingival index and plaque index of the two groups after repair were lower than those before repair, and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The aesthetic effect of immediate implant restoration in the repair of upper anterior teeth is better than that of delayed implant restoration, which can improve the health level of periodontal tissue and help maintain labial bone mass.
