Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of oral implant restoration in the treatment of dentition defect. Methods A total of 200 patients with dentition defect admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the lottery method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 100 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine restoration, and the observation group was treated with oral implant restoration. The clinical efficacy, oral related indicators and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98.00%, which was higher than 83.00% in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the scores of language ability, masticatory ability, comfort, aesthetics and retention function in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Compared with traditional restoration methods, oral implant restoration technology can not only effectively make up for tooth loss, improve the restoration effect, but also improve the patient's language ability, masticatory ability, comfort, aesthetics, retention function, and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of application.
