Objective To explore the effect of individualized nursing management in patients undergoing burn plastic surgery. Methods A total of 90 patients who underwent burn plastic surgery in Bijie Hospital of Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital from February to November 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the experimental group was given individualized nursing management on the basis of the control group. The pain degree, daily living ability, nursing quality, nursing satisfaction and complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups (P >0.05). The daily living ability score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of nursing professional skills, communication ability, nursing attitude, response speed, patient education and privacy protection in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction in the experimental group was 95.56%, which was higher than 77.78% in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 28.89%, which was lower than 75.56% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of individualized nursing management in patients with burn plastic surgery is effective, which can effectively relieve pain, promote wound healing, improve the psychological state of patients, improve their treatment coordination and satisfaction, and has positive significance for promoting the rapid recovery of patients.
