Objective To explore the application effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing in patients with chronic eczema. Methods A total of 78 patients with chronic eczema treated in our hospital from September 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 39 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, skin condition, quality of life, medication compliance, reasonable diet rate and disease recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.00%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P <0.05). After intervention, the scores of dark red spots, rough hypertrophy, pruritus and lichenification in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The DLQI score of the two groups after intervention was lower than that before intervention, and that of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). The medication compliance and reasonable diet rate of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P <0.05). The recurrence rate of disease in the observation group was 2.50%, which was lower than 15.00% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with chronic eczema, the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing can improve the clinical efficacy, improve the quality of life, improve the skin condition, improve the reasonable diet rate, and reduce the recurrence rate of the disease. It is worthy of clinical application.
