Abstract:Objective To study the effect of oral implant restorationof dentition defect. Methods A total of 100 patients with dentition defect admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with fixed denture restoration, and the observation group was treated with oral implant restoration. The oral function score, periodontal index, oral repair efficacy and treatment-related indicators were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores speech function, masticatory function and fixation function of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, PLI, GI and SBI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 96.00%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the degree of bleeding, periodontal pocket depth, alveolar height and anterior teeth coverage in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Oral implantrestoration can improve the oral function and periodontal health of patients with dentition defect. The clinical effect is better, and the quality of life can be improved. It is worthy of clinical application.
