Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of light-cured composite resin and nano-composite resin in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 95 patients with anterior teeth injury admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research objects. According to different repair methods, they were divided into control group (n =47) and observation group (n =48). The control group was repaired with light-cured composite resin, and the observation group was repaired with nano-composite resin. The pain degree, tooth sensitivity, periodontal health level and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group at 1 week, 1 month and 2 months after repair (P<0.05). The incidence of tooth sensitivity in the observation group was lower than that in the control group at 1 week, 1 month and 2 months after repair (P <0.05). The scores of GI, SBI and PLI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 10.42%, which was lower than 34.04% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with anterior tooth injury, nano-composite resin can reduce the pain and tooth sensitivity symptoms of patients, improve the health status of affected teeth, and reduce the occurrence of complications. It is worthy of clinical application.
