Abstract:Objective To investigate the aesthetic effect of fluticasone propionate cream and hydrocortisone butyrate ointment in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods A total of 78 patients with psoriasis vulgaris admitted to Haiyuan County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 39 patients in each group. The control group was treated with hydrocortisone butyrate ointment, and the observation group was treated with fluticasone propionate cream. The cell sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and aesthetic evaluation were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of ESR, CRP and IL-6 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The aesthetic effect scores of patients and physicians in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with psoriasis vulgaris, the treatment of fluticasone propionate cream can achieve good results, which can reduce the inflammatory response of patients, improve clinical symptoms, and improve patients' recognition of aesthetic effects.
