Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing in emergency patients with facial trauma. Methods A total of 82 patients with facial trauma admitted to the emergency department of China Railway Fuyang Hospital from June 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 41 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given comprehensive nursing. The satisfaction, the psychological status, pain degree, scar condition, aesthetic effect and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of satisfaction in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group at 1, 3 and 7 days after operation (P <0.05). The scores of POSAS and VSS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The aesthetic effect score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion After the occurrence of emergency facial trauma, the implementation of plastic and cosmetic repair treatment and comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively improve the treatment effect, accelerate the repair of trauma sites, reduce the physical and mental discomfort of patients, and restore the normal shape and function of the face.
