Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing intervention on wound aesthetics and psychological state of patients with gynecological tumors. Methods A total of 110 patients with gynecological tumors admitted to our hospital from July 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 55 patients in each group. Both groups were given routine nursing during hospitalization. The control group was followed up regularly after discharge. The study group was given continuous nursing for 3 months after discharge. The Vancouver Scar Assessment Scale (VSS) score, linear scar patient and observer scar assessment scale (POSAS) score, wound healing, scar related indicators, and psychological status were compared between the two groups. Results The color, thickness, softness, vascular distribution and total score of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The POSAS and OSAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The grade A healing rate of wound in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in scar length between the two groups (P >0.05). The thickness and width of scar in the study group were smaller than those in the control group (P <0.05). The SAS and SDS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Continuous nursing intervention has a positive effect on postoperative wound healing, aesthetic effect and psychological state of patients with gynecological tumors, which provides better support for their comprehensive rehabilitation and helps to improve the quality of life.
