Abstract:When the skin is damaged, the body will start the repair mechanism, including inflammatory response, cell proliferation and tissue remodeling, which will cause the appearance of keloids due to the large-scale formation of collagen fibers and the excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix. The formation of keloids not only affects the appearance of the skin, but also causes dysfunctions such as pain, itching, and tightness. Laser therapy has the advantages of minimally invasive, short postoperative recovery time and obvious improvement of scar appearance, and has been widely used in clinical treatment. However, the application of laser alone in the clinical treatment of keloids has certain limitations. In view of this, this article will focus on the application of different laser technologies in the treatment of keloids, in order to provide a reference for further improving the safety and effectiveness of keloid treatment.
