Objective To explore the effect of nursing mode based on the concept of fast-track surgery (FTS) on the therapeutic effect of cosmetic plastic suture surgery in patients with facial trauma. Methods A total of 100 patients with facial trauma cosmetic suture surgery in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were divided into routine group and observation group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The routine nursing mode was implemented in the routine group, and the nursing mode based on FTS was implemented in the observation group. The nursing effect, scar condition, wound healing time, wound suture removal time, complications and facial aesthetic satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total score of nursing effect in the observation group was higher than that in the routine group (P <0.05). The SCAR score of the observation group was lower than that of the routine group (P <0.05). The wound healing time and wound suture removal time in the observation group were shorter than those in the routine group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.00%, which was lower than 20.00% in the routine group (P <0.05). The facial aesthetic satisfaction of the observation group was 96.00%, which was higher than 84.00% of the routine group (P <0.05). Conclusion Nursing mode based on FTS in patients with facial trauma during cosmetic plastic suture surgery period can not only improve the nursing effect, shorten the wound recovery time, but also reduce the risk of complications and improve the satisfaction of facial beauty.
