Objective To study the nursing effect of psychological nursing combined with health education on patients with burn and plastic surgery and its influence on quality of life. Methods A total of 64 patients who underwent burn plastic surgery in our hospital from February 2023 to February 2024 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 32 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given psychological nursing combined with health education nursing. The psychological state, quality of life, health knowledge, happiness and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of HAMA and HAMD in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of health knowledge mastery, GWB and GQOLI-74 were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 93.75%, which was higher than 78.13% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with burn and plastic surgery, psychological nursing combined with health education can reduce their psychological pressure, enhance their health cognition, improve their subjective well-being and nursing satisfaction, and improve their quality of life.
