Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of orbital septum fat flap correction on the prognosis of baggy eye with lacrimal groove depression. Methods From January 1, 2021 to January 1, 2024, 110 patients with baggy eye accompanied by lacrimal groove depression diagnosed and treated in Xi'an Yue Ta Jessica Medical Beauty Clinic were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 55 patients in each group. The control group was treated with autologous fat filling correction, and the study group was treated with orbital septum fat flap correction. The clinical effects, skin symptoms and surgical indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 98.18%, which was higher than 87.27% of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of skin relaxation and pigmentation symptoms in the two groups at 3 months after operation were lower than those at 1 day before operation, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incision length, intraoperative blood loss, operation time and postoperative incision healing time of the study group were better than those of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Orbital septum fat flap correction is applied to the correction of baggy eye with lacrimal groove depression, which can shorten the operation time, promote the wound healing of patients, relieve the skin symptoms of patients, and improve the overall efficacy.
