Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effects of double eyelid surgery and eyebrow lifting combined with lower eyelid margin incision midface lifting in the treatment of upper and lower eyelid relaxation. Methods Sixty patients with upper and lower eyelid relaxation treated in Zibo Yimei Plastic Surgery Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the operation method, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with double eyelid surgery, and the observation group was treated with eyebrow lifting combined with lower eyelid margin incision midface lifting. The cosmetic effects, complications and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The cosmetic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group at 1 and 6 months after operation (P <0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group (3.33%) was lower than that in the control group (20.00%) (P <0.05). The satisfaction of patients in the observation group (96.67%) was higher than that in the control group (80.00%) (P <0.05). Conclusion For patients with upper and lower eyelid relaxation, the application of eyebrow lifting combined with lower eyelid margin incision midface lifting is ideal, which can reduce the risk of postoperative complications and improve the patient 's satisfaction with the surgical results.
