Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of porcelain veneer and full crown teeth on oral restoration and its influence on tooth aesthetics. Methods A total of 114 patients with oral restoration admitted to the department of oral medicine, Hebei Ophthalmology Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected and divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 57 patients in each group. The control group was treated with full crown teeth, and the experimental group was treated with porcelain veneer. The repair effect, repair aesthetics and repair satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The periodontal pocket depth, gingival bleeding index and attachment loss in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The restoration integrity, gingival condition and marginality of the two groups after restoration were higher than those before restoration, and those of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). The sensitive symptoms and edge coloring of the teeth after repair in the two groups were lower than those before repair, and those in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The repair effect, appearance effect, chewing ability and comfort satisfaction score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In the aesthetic restoration of teeth, the treatment of porcelain veneer can obtain better repair effect and aesthetics. Meanwhile, the stability of teeth after restoration is higher, the stimulation of periodontal tissue is smaller, and the patient's satisfaction is higher.
