Abstract:Objective To explore the value of zirconium dioxide all-ceramic crown in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 68 patients who underwent aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in our hospital from April 2021 to April 2024 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 34 patients in each group. The control group was repaired with cobalt-chromium alloy porcelain crown, and the experimental group was repaired with zirconium dioxide all-ceramic crown. The masticatory function, periodontal health level and oral aesthetics of the two groups were compared. Results The masticatory function and bite force of the experimental group were better than those of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of plaque index, bleeding index and tooth mobility in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The oral aesthetics of the experimental group was 97.06%, which was higher than 79.41% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Zirconium dioxide all-ceramic crown is effective in the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth, which can improve the masticatory function of patients, improve the periodontal health level, and improve the oral aesthetics. It is worthy of clinical application.
