Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of orthodontic combined with periodontal basic treatment in patients with anterior teeth displacement. Methods A total of 80 patients with anterior teeth displacement admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were randomly divided into reference group and study group, with 40 patients in each group. The reference group was given routine treatment, and the study group was given orthodontic combined with periodontal basic treatment. The clinical efficacy, tooth function, inflammatory factor levels and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the tooth function score of the study group was higher than that of the reference group (P <0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 92.50%, which was higher than 75.00% in the reference group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 7.50%, which was higher than 5.00% in the reference group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05). After treatment, the levels of IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α in the study group were lower than those in the reference group (P <0.05). Conclusion Orthodontic combined with periodontal basic treatment has a definite application effect in patients with anterior teeth displacement, which can improve the curative effect, improve tooth function, reduce inflammation index, and has good application safety.
