Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of all-ceramic veneer in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 120 patients who received cosmetic restoration of anterior teeth in the Department of Stomatology, Yanshan County Shoufu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group was repaired with all-ceramic crowns, and the experimental group was repaired with all-ceramic veneers. The aesthetic effects, satisfaction, complications, and durability of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of color, anatomical shape and edge fitness in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The proportion of satisfaction with color, shape and chewing function in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 3.33%, which was lower than 11.67% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The durability score of the experimental group at 6 and 12 months after repair was higher than that of the control group, and the differences was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of all-ceramic veneer in the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth is effective, which can improve the aesthetic effect, improve patient satisfaction and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of clinical application.
