Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of orthodontics combined with bone level implant repair in patients with dentition defect. Methods A total of 80 patients with dentition defect admitted to Jingyue Jushi Dental Clinic from February 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group (n =40) and observation group (n =40) by random number table method. The control group was treated with bone level implant repair, and the observation group was treated with orthodontics combined with bone level implant repair. The planting effect, chewing function, oral health impact, periodontal tissue status and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of planting in the observation group was 97.50%, which was higher than 80.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The bite force of the two groups after operation was higher than that before operation, and that of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of OHIP-14 in both groups were lower than those before operation, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The plaque index and debris index of the two groups after operation were lower than those before operation, and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%, which was lower than 22.50% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of orthodontics combined with bone level implant repair in patients with dentition defect is effective, which can improve the success rate of implantation, improve the masticatory function, improve the oral health status and reduce the incidence of complications. It is worthy of clinical application.
