Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of He-Ne laser combined with drug therapy on pain and rash recovery in patients with herpes zoster. Methods From July 2021 to December 2022, 60 patients with herpes zoster admitted to the Department of Dermatology, Jintai Hospital of Baoji City were selected as the research objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with drugs, and the study group was treated with He-Ne laser on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect, clinical related indicators (skin lesion scab time, skin lesion disappearance time), pain degree, inflammatory factor levels [procalcitonin (PCT), C-reactive protein (CRP), white blood cell count (WBC)] were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the study group was 96.67%, which was higher than 73.33% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The scab time and disappearance time of skin lesions in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The VAS score of the two groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment, and that of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, PCT, CRP and WBC in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of He-Ne laser combined with drug therapy in patients with herpes zoster is ideal, which can promote the improvement of clinical related indicators, relieve pain and reduce the level of inflammatory factors. It is worthy of clinical application.
