Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of Surfill resin and conventional resin in repairing anterior teeth defect. Methods A total of 105 patients with anterior tooth defect repair admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to December 2023 were selected and divided into observation group (54 patients) and control group (51 patients) according to repair materials. The observation group was repaired with Surfill resin, and the control group was repaired with conventional Neofil resin. The repair effect, aesthetics, adverse reactions and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of repair in the observation group was 94.44%, which was higher than 80.39% in the control group (P <0.05). The aesthetic score of anterior teeth in the observation group was (0.65±0.17)scores, which was lower than (0.86±0.21)scores in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 7.41%, which was lower than 21.57% in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group was 94.44%, which was higher than 78.43% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Surfill resin material has ideal effect and aesthetics in repairing anterior teeth defect, with less adverse reactions and higher patient re cognition.
