Abstract:Objective To compare the application value of porcelain veneer and all-ceramic crown in aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 92 patients who underwent aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to different repair methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 46 patients in each group. The control group was treated with all-ceramic crown for aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth, and the observation group was treated with porcelain veneer for aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. The restoration effect, aesthetic effect and complications of the two groups were compared. Results The excellent and good rate of aesthetic restoration in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The aesthetic appearance and color score of the restoration in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.52%, which was lower than 19.57% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application of porcelain veneer in the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth has certain advantages over all-ceramic crowns. It can not only improve the aesthetic restoration effect of anterior teeth, but also obtain better aesthetic effect and reduce the incidence of complications.
