Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of high-density autologous hair transplantation on hair transplantation in patients with seborrheic alopecia. Methods A total of 200 patients with seborrheic alopecia who visited Beijing Biliansheng Medical Beauty Clinic from March 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the study subjects. According to the differences in treatment plans, the patients were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 100 patients in each group. The control group underwent scalp expansion surgery, while the observation group underwent high-density autologous hair transplantation surgery. The rates of excellent and good hair transplant results, aesthetic satisfaction, overall hair transplant effect score (IGA), hair pulling test indicators, hair survival score, and quality of life score were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of treatment in the observation group was 100.00%, which was higher than 91.00% in the control group (P <0.05). The total satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The IGA score of F and V areas and hair survival score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and hair pulling test was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of all dimensions of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion High-density autologous hair transplantation can actively improve the hair loss performance of scalp area F and area V in patients with seborrheic alopecia. The long-term postoperative hair grafting effect is well maintained, which can improve the quality of life and satisfaction of patients.
