Abstract:Objective To explore the correction effect of modified Park double eyelid surgery in the treatment of mild ptosis. Methods A total of 150 patients with mild ptosis admitted to Xi'an Gaoyisheng Medical Aesthetic Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to different surgical methods, they were divided into control group and study group, with 75 patients in each group. The control group underwent conventional Park double eyelid surgery, and the study group underwent modified Park double eyelid surgery. The surgical conditions, the degree of axial tissue swelling, the corneal reflection distance of the upper eyelid margin, the incidence of complications and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time of the study group was shorter than that of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, and the proportion of postoperative incision healing was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The scores of axial tissue swelling in the study group were lower than those in the control group at 7 days and 3 months after operation (P <0.05). The corneal reflection distance of upper eyelid margin in the two groups at 3 months after operation was greater than that before operation, and that in the study group was greater than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was 2.67%, which was lower than 14.67% in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction of the study group was 96.00%, which was higher than 80.00% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Modified Park double eyelid surgery in the treatment of mild ptosis is more conducive to improving the correction effect and reconstructing the appearance of double eyelid. At the same time, it can also improve the swelling degree of periocular tissue, promote the healing of postoperative incision, and has fewer postoperative complications and high patient satisfaction.
