Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive incision nursing after cesarean section and its influence on incision aesthetics and healing. Methods A total of 92 primiparas who underwent cesarean section in our hospital from June 2022 to March 2023 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 46 primiparas in each group. The control group received routine postoperative nursing, and the study group received comprehensive incision nursing. The incision healing, incision aesthetics, scar score, scar width, thickness and length, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The grade A healing rate of incision in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the grade B and grade C healing rates were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of each dimension and total score of VSS in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The PSAS score and OSAS score of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P <0.05). The thickness and width of scar in the study group were smaller than those in the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in scar length between the two groups (P >0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the study group was 100.00%, which was higher than 95.65% of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive incision nursing for primipara after cesarean section can reduce the width and thickness of incision scar, promote incision healing, and improve incision aesthetics and nursing satisfaction.
