Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of holistic nursing in operating room and its influence on local anesthesia stress response in patients with aesthetic plastic surgery. Methods A total of 72 patients with aesthetic plastic surgery admitted to our hospital from December 2021 to November 2023 were selected and divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table method, with 36 patients in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, and the experimental group was treated with holistic nursing in operating room. The stress response (heart rate, mean arterial pressure), adverse emotions scores [Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS)], nursing quality, adverse events and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The heart rate and mean arterial pressure of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group at 30 min and 10 min after the operation (P <0.05). The scores of SDS and SAS in the two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention, and those in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). The scores of service attitude, basic nursing, environmental management and operation level in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion In aesthetic plastic surgery, holistic nursing in the operating room can reduce the stress response of patients with local anesthesia, relieve adverse emotions, improve the quality of care, reduce the incidence of adverse events, and patient satisfaction is high.
