Objective To investigate the effect of Meibai Quban pill combined with facial acupuncture and moxibustion on chloasma patients. Methods A total of 1000 patients with chloasma admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 500 patients in each group. The control group was treated with Meibai Quban pill pill, and the study group was treated with Meibai Quban pill combined with facial acupuncture and moxibustion. The clinical efficacy, skin lesion area, color depth and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 86.00%, which was higher than 65.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The skin lesion area score of the study group at 1 and 2 months after treatment was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The color depth score of the study group at 1 and 2 months after treatment was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). The quality of life score of the study group at 1 and 2 months of treatment was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The application effect of Meibai Quban pill combined with facial acupuncture and moxibustion in patients with chloasma is exact, which can effectively reduce the skin lesion area of patients, improve the color of skin lesions, and improve their quality of life. It is worthy of clinical application.
